Ivan Rakitic, the Croatian soccer superstar, his career is like a legendary drama with ups and downs. He is currently playing for Hajduk Schipolite FC, the latest stop in his career.

Dating back to the 2005/06 season, Rakitic started his professional soccer career out of the Basel youth academy. In his first season, his appearances were few and far between. But on September 29, 2005, he made his debut for Basel in the European Union Cup, and that was the moment he began his professional journey.

Time passed and on June 22, 2007, Rakitic took the departure of a Brazilian player as an opportunity to move from Basel to Germany's Schalke 04, and then joined Turkey's Galatasaray, where his jersey number followed his former teammate's number 10.

In 2011, the Croatian midfield star attracted the attention of many giants, he eventually joined the La Liga Sevilla, became the core of the team and the captain. 2014, he led Sevilla in the final of the Europa League victory over Benfica, lifted the trophy, and won the title of MVP. In the same year, Rakitic transferred to Barcelona at a high price of 18 million euros, and his annual salary was as high as 8 million euros, and he wore the No. 4 jersey, which used to be the robe of Cesc Fabregas.
