Memphis started his professional trial in 2011 when he made his debut with Eindhoven Reserves in the Netherlands, and in April 2012, his stunning performance in the Dutch Cup Final saw him promoted to the first team the following day.
The following year, in the 2014-2015 season, Memphis was crowned top scorer in the Dutch Eredivisie with 22 goals.
Memphis joined United in the summer of 2015, following Depay, wearing the number 7 and making 29 Premier League appearances under Van Gaal's stewardship, kicking off his debut with a 3-0 win over Sunderland.
However, after Mourinho's arrival, Memphis lost his starting spot and made just four Premier League appearances all season.
In 2017, Memphis joined the Lyons with the No. 9 jersey and spent five seasons here as a central force on the team.
In June 2021, Barcelona announced the signing of Memphis to continue his number saga. However, in the winter of 2023, Memphis moved to Atletico Madrid, but left the team on July 1, 2024, just a year later.
Today, Memphis has joined the Barclays Premier League's Club Colomitas to continue writing his soccer story.
