The much-anticipated Riyadh Snooker Championship has been confirmed and will be staged on December 18-20, bringing together the world's best snooker players.

One of the highlights of the tournament is the 20-point, one-of-a-kind Golden Globe Award, which can be won by a player who can shoot a perfect 147 in the tournament, which would potentially break the record for the highest ever snooker score of 167.

The Riyadh Carnival Season Snooker Championship (Invitational) will feature the world's top ten ranked players on December 1, just as the 2024 Snooker Championship comes to a close. With three ranking events still to be decided, players still have a chance to make a run at the top ten.

Recall that in March, snooker legend O'Sullivan beat Higgins and Trump before finally claiming the trophy with a 5-2 victory over Brecel.
