Newsflash from August 19: Officials of the Central League have unveiled the exact schedule for the third phase of the tournament, with the thriller set to kick off on August 29 on the same day.
After 16 rounds of action in the first two phases, the season has now come to an end and the 18 teams in the league will be in the thick of the AFC Cup action this weekend, followed by a week or so of rest and recuperation.
The third phase of the Central League will be officially launched on August 29th and come to an end on September 29th, when a total of eight rounds of matches will be played. Matches will continue to be played in the three main regions of Tangshan, Nanjing and Dalian.
