Chinese Super League storm clouds again: Henan Longmen Luo Xin apologized for the foul incident

In the just-concluded 12th round of the Chinese Super League, Henan Songshan Longmen and Meizhou Hakka met each other on a narrow road. The game went to the 10th minute, Henan team player Luo Xin in a backfield scramble, accidentally shovel Meizhou team player Chen Zhechao, resulting in ankle injuries, Luo Xin therefore by the referee to show a red card directly sent off. In response to this incident, Luo Xin also publicly issued an apology statement.

Looking back at the game, Luo Xin's shoveling action was too intense and not only caused injury to Chen Zhechao, but also made the referee cancel the original yellow card warning after video replay and change the decision to a red card. The affected Chen Zhechao was unable to continue the game and was then replaced by teammate Yang Yihu.

Luo Xin wrote on social media, "I deeply apologize for my excessive shoveling action in today's match against Meizhou, which caused the injury of No. 15 player Chen Zhechao. I hope he can recover soon."
