The powerful Guangzhou team, Chengdu Rongcheng team, Cangzhou Lions team and our men's soccer selection team departed from the resident hotel in Haikou City one after another and took the same flight to Dalian City in a hurry. The smooth departure of these teams from the island provides a guarantee for the normal operation of the upcoming Chinese Super League matches.
Due to the epidemic in Hainan Province, Guangzhou, Chengdu Rongcheng, Cangzhou Lions, Hebei, Tianjin Jinmen Tigers and Shandong Taishan were stranded in Haikou after the 11th round of the Chinese Super League. As the schedule for leaving the island was once unclear, the CFA and CFL preparatory team made adjustments to the 12th and 13th rounds of the Chinese Super League after urgent consultations and advanced the two matches in the 16th round so that the stranded teams could complete their matchups.
It is reported that, in order to ensure the smooth progress of the subsequent matches of the Chinese Super League, the Chinese Football Association and the preparatory group of the Chinese Football League paid real-time attention to the epidemic situation in Haikou City and changes in the epidemic prevention policy, and actively communicated with the local community to strive for the creation of convenient conditions for the stranded teams. With the strong support of the local community, Guangzhou, Chengdu Rongcheng and Cangzhou Lions were able to implement their plans to leave the island. According to the plan, the three Chinese Super League teams and the National Football League selection team left Haikou on the evening of the 13th by plane to Dalian.
As for Hebei, Jinmen Tigers and Taishan, they are holding off from leaving the island as they will play the 13th round of the Chinese Super League on August 15 in Haikou. And their opponent Changchun Yatai team has arrived safely in Haikou tournament area.
Why did the four teams pick the city of Dalian as their destination? The reason is simple. Rongcheng, Lions and Guangzhou will all play their Chinese Super League matches in Dalian. Chengdu Rongcheng will challenge Shanghai Shenhua on the road in Dalian on August 17th. Guangzhou's 13th round opponent is Dalian Ren (the match has been postponed). Cangzhou Lions, on the other hand, will play away against Dalian Ren on August 22 in Dalian. As some of the teams, including Shenhua, have been preparing and playing in Dalian recently, the destination of the national soccer selection team has also been chosen as the city of Dalian.
