After the game, Wang Shangyuan, captain of Henan Songshan Longmen, summarized the game, "We were one player short shortly after the game started, and that one red card completely changed the direction of the game."
Wang Shangyuan further said, "This game was very tough for us, but everyone could see that we put in a great effort. Although we lost today, there is still a long way to go in the league and we believe we will bounce back in the next game."
