Before the afterglow of England's women's soccer team's European Cup win had faded on Aug. 7, its member Jill Scott returned to her cozy coffee shop, wearing a gleaming medal, to begin her daily business.
The 35-year-old soccer star returned in glory after helping England's women's soccer team win the UEFA European Cup on a hot summer day. Just five days after winning the title, Scott returned to the café as a champion, with many enthusiastic fans coming up to take photos with her. The coffee shop, which she co-founded with a close friend, officially opens in spring 2021.
