Tarzan Fixture Changes
In the August 4 episode of Shandong TV's Kanball Time program, reporter Chen Yong revealed the inside story of Taishan's schedule adjustment. Due to the planned replacement of the turf at Jinan Olympic Sports Center, Taishan FC decided to schedule as many away games as possible in their upcoming matches.
According to the latest schedule, Taishan's first match after the resumption of the tournament will be against Tianjin Jinmen Tigers in Haikou on August 6 at 20:00, which will be held at Mission Hills Soccer Base. Chen Yong further elaborated on the program, "Given that the Olympic Sports Center is undergoing a summer turf replacement, Taishan will have relatively fewer home matches. Therefore, the club suggests scheduling more away matches in the early period. For example, Taishan will play consecutive matches against Tianjin Jinmen Tigers in Haikou,
Shanghai Shenhua (soccer team)
and Hebei before returning home. However, who would have thought that Shenhua was scheduled to play in Dalian, which made the schedule seem a bit confusing for both the team and the players. We wanted to adjust the schedule, but then it would affect other teams' schedules, and other teams might not agree. This is really a rather unexpected thing."
