China Youth Football League (Beijing Region) Successfully Concluded
On July 24th, the flame of the 1st China Youth Football League (Beijing Region) was finally extinguished with the last goal scored in the Sanko Sports Training Base. After five days of fierce competition, Tsinghua High School came out on top and won the U13 Boys' Division; Beijing Guoan B team successfully won the U15 Boys' Division; Fengtai Girls' Football Team and Beijing Xiannongtan Girls' Football Team won the U13 Girls' Division and U15 Girls' Division respectively. Mr. Gao Hongbo, Vice President of CFA, Mr. Yang Haibin, Deputy Director of Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports and President of Beijing Municipal Football Association, Mr. Su Jun, Director of Youth Division, and Mr. Liu Jun, Executive Vice President and Secretary General of Beijing Municipal Football Association were present at the ceremony to present the honors to the winning teams.
This year's tournament featured four divisions: U13 Boys, U13 Girls, U15 Boys and U15 Girls, and attracted 36 teams, including Beijing Guoan Football Club's ladder teams, to register. The organizers of the tournament adhered to the principle of openness and inclusiveness, providing a competitive platform for youth training institutions, schools, gymnasiums and professional club teams.
The tournament was held to implement the overall program of national soccer reform and development, promote the development of youth soccer and cultivate more soccer talents. The tournament was jointly organized by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Sports and the Beijing Municipal Commission of Education, and undertaken by the Municipal Football Association.
In order to ensure the safety of the event, the organizing committee strictly enforced the guidelines of Beijing Municipality on epidemic prevention and control, strictly measured the temperature and checked the code, and all participants were required to provide a negative nucleic acid certificate within 48 hours and use the "Beijing Health Treasure" to scan the code for registration.
