Guangzhou City Football Club announced on its official platform that after a series of communication and negotiation with the player and the Hong Kong Football Association, the club has officially decided to approve the player Chan Chun Lok to represent the national team to participate in the upcoming 2022 East Asian Cup. The final 26-man squad for the East Asian Cup has been unveiled, with Guangzhou City player Chan Chun Lok's name on the list. Immediately following the tournament on July 19, Hong Kong, China will face off against Japan. Born in January 1996, Chan Chun Lok is a midfielder who, since joining Guangzhou City in July 2018, has appeared in nine matches for the team this season and contributed one goal. The Chinese men's soccer team will face Hong Kong head-to-head in the finale of this year's East Asian Cup.
