"Actually, to be honest, (when I first started to stay in the world) I didn't think about it particularly much, and now that I have these two titles, it does feel a bit of a surprise."
"Competitive sports, since you're in the sport, it's definitely about trying to win races and win championships. So I think we can finally get the championship and it's kind of a successful season for me."
This season, Shen Mengyu as a midfielder harvested 5 goals and 10 assists, but in Shen Mengyu's view, he still has a lot of room for improvement in the future.
"There are quite a lot of areas where we can do better, if you look at the stats, we've had midfielders in our team who have scored eight goals and even strikers who have scored 40 goals in a season, so there's still quite a big gap."
"I'd like to score more goals next season as well, and I fitted in relatively well in the first season. But next season will be a different team, due to the expiry of contracts of some teammates and new players joining the team, so it's a new start again next season and hopefully I can come up with a satisfactory answer sheet."

In terms of language barrier, Shen Mengyu took English classes to improve, and now the communication with teammates and coaches has been much smoother. In our spare time, we also make plans to go on trips and have dinners together.
Recalling such a process of getting through the adaptation period, Shen Mengyu did not forget to thank the help from all sides: "In fact, I was quite worried before staying in the ocean, like my friends and teammates will give me a lot of advice and ideas, gave me a lot of love."
"I was very lucky at the beginning of the Celtic team, I had a few players who looked after me and they said the right thing, which is really don't be shy, if you don't understand you have to ask, if you still don't understand you have to keep on asking because we're all very happy to help you with your answers and we're all very happy to listen to your difficulties, so it's just don't be shy, just relax. Speaking of the initial decision to go to sea to stay in the ocean when the idea, Shen Mengyu said his purpose is actually very simple.

Coming to Europe, she did feel a different kind of soccer: "Relatively more wide open a little bit, or maybe it's because we have a couple of frontcourt players on our team who do have a lot of speed, so sometimes our counterattacks are a little bit more direct."
