FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE, May 29 - Chinese Super League powerhouse Shenzhen Football Club recently announced that coaches Zhang Xiaorui, Li Jianhua and Guan Zhen will embark on a journey of further study, according to soccer reports.
Zhang Xiaorui has been the Chinese assistant coach of Shenzhen since January 2020, and had temporarily acted as the head coach at the end of the season last year. Li Jianhua, who played for SZFC and Meixian Tiehan in his career, is now an assistant coach of SZFC after he retired from the game and switched to coaching. Guan Zhen, on the other hand, joined SZFC in 2017, and since August 2020 has also been the team's acting goalkeeper coach.
It has been revealed that in the first stage of the Chinese Super League, Zhang Xiurui and Li Jianhua will not travel with the team to the competition area, and Guan Zhen, after briefly participating in the work of the competition area, will also be with the two coaches for further study. It is worth mentioning that SZF has always had a tradition of excellent young coaches going out for further study in recent years, with U16 elite ladder team coach Chen Tao and former SZF goalkeeper Wei Jian having been given the opportunity to study in this way.
