Super League Tournament Cost Coverage and Epidemic Preparedness Measures
May 30, LIVE UPDATE: Beijing Youth Daily has revealed that the organizers will shoulder most of the financial expenses for the first phase of the 18 Chinese Super League teams.
The new Chinese Super League (CSL) season kicks off this Friday, and according to Beijing Youth Daily, the teams have coincided in their frugal initiatives upon arrival at the tournament area. In order to help the teams tide over the difficult times, the CFA, the preparatory group of the CFL and the cities where the tournament areas are located have also provided practical financial help to ensure that the costs of catering, accommodation, training, matches, epidemic prevention, security and other expenses after the teams' arrival are fully borne by the organizers.
Beiqing further pointed out that each of the Chinese Super League tournament areas can accommodate up to 50 people per team in hospitality, the team was allocated 40 rooms (including three meals), the whole team needs to be in a closed environment for food, lodging and training during the game. In addition, the team will be required to undergo the necessary anti-epidemic testing, and the environment in the tournament area will be strictly enforced with disinfection and other anti-epidemic measures.
In terms of training arrangements, the 18 Premier League teams will be provided with separate training venues, chosen in order of last season's ranking, and will be free to use for three hours per day, or at their own expense if additional time is required. The hotel's conference hall is open to all teams, with advance booking required before use.
Although the criteria for the three zones in Dalian, Meizhou and Haikou are slightly different, all things considered, the cost per person per day for teams to be in the zones is expected to be up to 1,000 RMB, and the total cost could be as high as 36 million RMB. North Youth ultimately emphasized that although these costs will be deducted from the organizer's entry fee, the organizer's early assumption of these expenditures undoubtedly reduces the financial pressure for the clubs.
