An overview of transfers for League One clubs for the 2022 season
With the arrival of 0:00 Beijing time on April 30th, the first window of the 2022 season for the domestic transfer registration of Chinese League One clubs was officially closed. In this transfer window, the clubs showed different characteristics in their reinforcement strategies.
Among the 18 First Division clubs, 7 clubs chose not to bring in any new foreigners, while the remaining 11 clubs brought in a total of 22 new foreigners, with 8 of them coming from internal mobility or veterans of the National Football League. Of particular note, eight clubs, including Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic, completed the top three foreign aiders, while six clubs, including Dalian Ren, decided to deal with the first half of the new season with an all-Chinese squad.
In terms of local players, Tong Lei chose to stay with relegated Dalian Ren, becoming the only international player in the Central League.
