Schedule Adjustment in Dynamic Change
Shanghai Jiading Huilong Football Club has been selected to participate in the 2022 season of China League B. Meanwhile, China's U-19 national men's soccer team will be absent from the stage of the league.There are a total of 18 clubs competing in the 2022 season of the league.
New rules for player transfers and registration
(i) New mechanism for contract termination
According to the second paragraph of Article 7 of the Regulations of the Chinese Football Association on the Management of Player Status and Transfer, professional players of Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club may unilaterally terminate their work contracts with their original clubs through written notification.
(ii) Increase in the temporary transfer window
It has been decided that an additional domestic temporary transfer window will be established. The timing of the temporary transfer window for specific professional leagues at all levels is as follows:
China Premier League (CPL)
: May 27 to June 10, 2022;
China League Football
: May 27 to June 15, 2022;
China B League
: May 27 to June 15, 2022.
During this period, professional players (including foreign players) of the former Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club can handle the transfer procedures of domestic professional players.
(iii) New provisions for temporary transfer quotas
Each Chinese Super League, Chinese League One and Chinese League Two club can bring in a maximum of three professional players from Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club (foreign players must comply with the relevant regulations) during the new domestic temporary transfer window. Players previously loaned to Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club need to return to the original club from which they were loaned, while players loaned to other clubs need to go through the relevant procedures after the expiration of the loan period.
(iv) New criteria for league enrolment
Within the new domestic temporary transfer window, clubs may register up to three additional professional players formerly of Chongqing Liangjiang Athletic Football Club, and this quota will not be counted as part of the first league registration. From the closure of the second transfer window of the 2022 season in the second tier, the maximum number of league entries for each club will be 35.
The number of clubs enrolled for the first time in the Chinese Super League and the Chinese League A shall be 18 to 35, and the total number of clubs enrolled for the whole year shall not exceed 45. The number of first-time registrants for the Chinese League B shall be 18 to 35, and the total number of registrants for the whole year shall not be more than 40.
The maximum number of foreign players registered at the same time for each club in the Chinese Super League is five, and the maximum number of foreign players registered at the same time for each club in the Chinese League A is three.
(v) Requirements to be met by replacement promotion clubs
Dalian People's Professional Football Club and Shanghai Jiading Huilong Football Club are required to carry out the transfer, registration and enrollment of players in a standardized manner in accordance with the relevant league regulations and notices.
