In the May 21 edition of the Football Night program, CCTV interviewed the Brazilian league player who is currently playing in the
national soccer team
Naturalized player Ickerson.
Commenting on his return to Brazil, Iverson said, "Oscar had asked me why I didn't see me play at Gremio, and Hulk was concerned about why I hadn't seen me on the pitch after training for over a month, so I explained the situation to them in detail."
"I was faced with two choices, a contract with a longer number of years and another with a shorter number of years. In the end, we made the decision together. I've been away from Brazilian soccer for a long time and I'm not sure I'll be able to fit in again, but I hope to stay on the radar of our fans, coaching staff and the media through my efforts and performances this year, with the aim of one day returning to the national soccer team's lineup."
Speaking about his physical condition, Eckerson revealed, "I am not yet back to 100 percent because I have not been training systematically for the past three months or so and have been practicing on an individual basis. However, recently the club's coaching staff and I feel that my physical condition feels good and expect it to continue to improve."
