First of all, if we host the Asian Cup, does it mean that our men's football team will be among the strongest teams in Asia? I think this is totally impossible. At present, the strength of our men's football team we can all see, even a team like Vietnam can not be defeated, home to host the tournament, fans are also worried about in case the group stage are unable to get out of the group stage, the men's football team will be a huge impact. And now that we are not hosting the Asian Cup, such worries are gone.
Secondly, we have to mention that of the seven conditions put forward by the AFC, there are two conditions that are difficult for fans to accept. The first is the AFC's requirement that fans can travel freely and have free access to international flights. We all know that the current global epidemic situation is critical and fans and netizens are strictly abiding by the requirements to ensure safety. If the tournament is organized according to the AFC's requirements, this will undoubtedly violate the basic requirements of fans and netizens, and we think they should not cause us any trouble.
Secondly, the AFC requires that if the distance between different cities is more than 200 kilometers, a domestic flight must be secured. Many fans are puzzled by this. If the distance is 200 kilometers or 250 kilometers, why do we need to take flights? In our conception, organizing the Asian Cup should be as cost-saving as possible. For example, for a distance of 200 kilometers, we would usually choose to take the high-speed train because it is actually faster. From this, we can see that these requirements of the AFC have brought to the fans a factor of labor and instability. Therefore, I think that, taking into account the seven conditions proposed by the AFC, it is a wise choice for us not to host the Asian Cup.
