Referees absent from Super League matches

Beijing time on May 12, a piece of news quietly circulated in the Beijing Youth Daily - by Ma Ning, Fu Ming, Cao Yi, Shi Xiang composed of China's world-class referee team (including world-class assistant referees), assigned by the AFC, will be enforced in the group stage of the AFC Cup, but regrettably missed the first stage of the enforcement of the Chinese Super League.

The refereeing team will soon travel to Oman and Bahrain for the group stage of the AFC Cup, which will be held from May 18 to 24, respectively, it was reported. Immediately after that, they will move to Uzbekistan to enforce the final stage of the 5th U23 Asian Cup in June. This arrangement means that the four referees will be absent from the first phase of enforcement duties in the Super League.

Considering that the new season of the Chinese Super League may start as early as June 3, and the four Chinese referees will still be in Uzbekistan at that time, they will not be able to participate in the enforcement of the first stage of the Chinese Super League. In the face of such a situation, the refereeing department of the CFA has already made preparations. Prior to this, including the above four referees, a total of 90 referees (including assistant referees) participated in the pre-season training of the new professional league season in late April as alternative referees of the Chinese Super League, which is sufficient to meet the demand of the league's law enforcement.
