It is highly likely that the start of the new Chinese Super League season will be postponed to June 3rd.
Beijing Youth Daily further reported that Chen Xuyuan, the president of CFA, and Liu Jun, the deputy head of the preparatory group, arrived in Haikou on May 9, and on the following day, they led the investigative working group to make a detailed inspection of the Wiyuanhe Stadium, the Mission Hills Soccer Training Base, the Mission Hills Resort Hotel and other major training and competition venues as well as the hospitality hotels. Compared with women's soccer tournaments, men's professional soccer leagues have higher requirements for training venues, reception conditions, match broadcasting, and VAR equipment installation. However, Haikou has rich experience in organizing the tournament and has become the focus of competition among the organizers.
The report also pointed out that due to the CFA to the higher authorities to submit the league to start the plan to include the relevant departments of the city to agree to run the game of the approval, and the approval of the implementation of the need to follow a strict procedure, the deadline for the detailed report no later than the 15th of this month.
