Results of the Dai Weijun Decision Announced

In an April 29 dispatch, soccer reporter Jia Yanfeng reports that the verdict on Dai Weijun has been revealed, with his individual free-agency application being rejected.

Jia Yanfeng revealed, "The rulings regarding players Zhao Yuhao, Gao Junyi, Li Shuai (Dalian), and Dai Weijun have been announced, with Qi Yuxi's case to be heard at another date due to the unexpired defense period, and Jiang Guangtai's case in settlement. Notably, Dai Weijun's free agency request has been denied."

Zhang Bing, the lawyer representing Dai Weijun, previously said that he would apply to FIFA (International Federation of Football Associations) for a temporary license for international transfers if free agency could not be adjudicated. He also emphasized that the player has been working hard for free agency with the aim of playing in Europe.

According to Sports Weekly, Dai Weijun, who has been owed wages by the Shenzhen team for several months, does not intend to return to the Shenzhen team and has asked the CFA to restore his free agency.

Dai Weijun, whose monthly salary at SZFC reaches more than 100,000 yuan after tax, sent a lawyer's letter to the Shenzhen Football Club on the grounds of unpaid wages and formally applied to the CFA for reinstatement of his free agency.

Dai Weijun, born in July 1999, has played for Oxford United, Utrecht, Wolves and other clubs, and in July 2020 officially joined Shenzhen Football Club.
