Comparison of national football prices to Sun
Recently, the South Korean media Chosun Ilbo published a hotly debated article revealing the significant gap between the national teams of China and South Korea in terms of player value, emphasizing that even if the price of all the players of the Chinese team were to triple, it would be difficult to rival the value of Sun Xingyu alone.
Korean media also showed a picture of the Chinese team players, and this irony: "The price of all the players on this picture added up, but not as much as Sun Xingyu one."
Unlike Asian soccer powerhouses such as South Korea and Japan, the Chinese national team has tried to improve its strength by investing heavily in bringing in naturalized players in a bid to reach the World Cup.
