Interpretation of the announcement of the withdrawal of Shanxi Longjin Football Saloon from the professional league
On April 27, the Shanxi Longjin Football Salon released a withdrawal announcement, revealing the inside story of its withdrawal from the professional league. The announcement pointed out that although the salon is not in danger of owing wages, the withdrawal stems from the failure to deliver the 600,000 yuan participation deposit on time.
Originally, the National Football Association, the Chinese Football League as early as early April has clearly required that the new season in the second league salon must pay the deposit on time, the amount of last year's 1.5 million yuan down to 60%, aimed at protecting the stable operation of the salon, to maintain the order of the league.
On April 25, the National Football Association officially announced the list of participants for the new season of the Chinese Super League, Chinese A League and Chinese B League. All 18 salons in the Super League were qualified, and among the 17 salons in the League A, in addition to Qingdao Football Salon, the remaining 16 and the replacement of Xinjiang Tianshan Snow Leopard and Beijing North Sports University, a total of 18 salons obtained the qualification of the League.
The number of teams in the China B League was reduced to 20 from 24 in the previous season, including the 2003 age group U19 National Youth Football Team. Sichuan Minzhu Salon and the 2001 age group U21 National Youth Football Team, which did not submit the required information, failed to pass the review. The top four teams of last season's Central League B were promoted to Central League A. Xinjiang Tianshan Snow Leopard and Beijing North Sports University were promoted to Central League A, and six salons of the Central League Championship were promoted to Central League B by replacement.
The National Football Association (NFA) and the China Football Association (CFA) made it clear at the league meeting on April 3 that the C.B. salons that have passed the review are required to pay a deposit of 600,000 yuan to facilitate the normal operation of the salons. The tournament organizers explained that the deposit will be returned in full at the end of the season. This guideline has not been adopted for the Chinese Super League and the Chinese League A, as the relevant fees can be deducted from the entry fees.
In fact, the NFF had introduced similar margin guidelines for the 2019 season, but they were not followed last season due to the epidemic and salon operational difficulties. However, some salons have defaulted on salaries or withdrawn from matches due to funding issues, and even defaulted on hospitality expenses for the tournament, damaging the image of the league.
Shanxi Long Jin Football Salon, as a strong team in the first division last season, withdrew from the professional league is regrettable. In the announcement, the saloon expressed regret and emphasized that it did not owe wages. They originally planned to prepare for both, but due to financial difficulties, they failed to deliver the deposit on time. The tournament organizers believe that Salon had enough time to raise funds, and the failure to pay the deposit meant that they had no chance to participate. The threshold for participation in the Chinese B League can no longer be lowered further.
