(ii) Requirements for the number of recruits
For each club in the Chinese Super League and the Chinese League One, if the U-23 national men's soccer team has three drafted players, the club will be allowed to add two additional registration slots.
(iii) Increase in the number of call-ups to four and above
If a club in the Chinese Super League has more than four players drafted for the U-23 national men's football team, the club can only field a maximum of three foreign players in each match during the period of player draft (including the quarantine period against the epidemic).
In addition, total club enrollment may be increased to N-1 (if 4 are called up, enrollment is increased by 3; if 5 are called up, enrollment is increased by 4).
If each club in the Central League has more than four players drafted for the U-23 national men's soccer team, the club may only field a maximum of one foreign player in each match during the period of player draft (including the quarantine period against the epidemic).
The total number of enrolments may similarly be increased to N-1 (e.g., if 4 persons are called up, enrolment is increased by 3; if 5 persons are called up, enrolment is increased by 4).
IV. Description of other provisions
(i) Injuries and illnesses
During the period of conscription, if the U-23 national men's football team conscripted player is injured or sick, the player can return to the club after being examined by the team doctor of the national team and reported to the Chinese Football Association for consent. During the period of healing from the injury or illness, the player is still considered to be in a drafted status.
The same applies to U-23 national men's soccer players playing in overseas leagues.
(ii) Early termination of recruitment
If a club's drafted U-23 national men's football player returns to the team early during the draft period for non-injury reasons (including the quarantine period for immunization, failure to participate in training or failure to participate in full), the club will no longer be entitled to the reduction policy from the next round of league matches following the player's return to the team.
(iii) End of recruitment
If a club's U-23 national men's football player who has been called up returns to the team at the end of the call-up period (including the quarantine period against the epidemic), the club will no longer be entitled to the reduction policy from the next round of league matches following the player's return to the team.
(iv) Provisions concerning the Chinese Football Association Cup
The above terms and conditions apply to the 2022 season of the CFA Cup.
