
Muqam prepares for new season
Recently, Mukam, a foreign striker for Chinese League One newcomer Qingdao Fanghua Island, revealed to Qingdao fans via a personal video that he is currently in quarantine in Guangzhou and expressed his confidence that he will be able to return to the field soon.
Moukam, who hails from Cameroon, is known for his exceptional individual skills despite standing at only 1 meter 66. He played for Belarusian Premier League giants Borisov and helped them win both the league and cup. In the 2021 season, Mukam made 25 appearances for Aktobe in the Kazakhstan Premier League, starting 18 times and contributing four goals and two assists, helping the team to a sixth-place finish out of 14 teams with a record of nine wins, six draws and 11 losses.
For the upcoming new season of the Central League, Mukam has shown great expectations. He said excitedly, "I am very excited now, I will be assembling with my new club Fangwah Island right after the quarantine, and I am very much looking forward to the new season, as well as staying in the best shape."
