ESPN further predicts that Portugal will beat Ghana 2-0 in the first round and Uruguay 2-1 in the second round. As for the South Korea-Portugal matchup, ESPN's commentator put it bluntly, "Portugal's goal is to win, while South Korea's hope is to move on."
In the round of 16, ESPN predicted that South Korea will regretfully bid farewell to their trip to the last eight with a 0-2 defeat against Brazil.
