On April Fool's Day, Qingdao Hainiu Football Club, a promoted team in the Central League, announced a heavy news: the team has officially completed the signing of the first foreign aid of this season. The former Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic team's foreign aid, Onuebou, will wear the uniform of Hainiu and play in the 2022 China League.

It is reported that in order to prepare for the new season of the Central League, Hainiu Club started a large-scale foreign aid introduction program early. After layers of screening, Onuebu stood out. Born in 1986, he has been playing in the German professional league for many years, and has played for clubs such as Fürth, Sandhausen, Duisburg, etc. In 2020, Onuebu set foot in China, and has played for clubs such as Xinjiang Tianshan Snow Leopard and Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic, etc. Last season, his height of 1.91 meters was 1.5 meters, and he has been playing in the German professional league for many years. Last season, the 1.91-meter-tall Onuebu scored 21 goals in 35 appearances for Shaanxi Chang'an Athletic, just one goal less than Mu Xiekui, who helped Zhejiang Greentown reach the Super League. After the season, Onuebu's contract with Shaanxi expired, and this time he moved to Hainiu as a free agent.

After the signing ceremony, Onuebu expressed his excitement through a video: "I'm very happy to join hands with Hainiu FC, I'm eager to participate in the training and games and give my best to achieve the goal, which is an honor for me. I know Qingdao is a beautiful city and the Manatees have a great history, I hope to achieve my goals with the team this season. It's an honor to join this great team and I hope to see you all soon."

Currently, Onuebu is in Frankfurt, Germany, and has begun the formalities for his arrival in China. If all goes well, he is expected to arrive in China in mid-April, after which he will be quarantined in accordance with the epidemic prevention policy.
