What is striking is that the China Football Association and the Preparatory Group of the Football Association have explicitly requested that clubs in the new season of the Chinese Second League must pay a deposit of 600,000 yuan on schedule before the match. This amount is more than half of the 1.5 million yuan deposit in previous seasons. If clubs cannot even pay such a small deposit on time, then naturally it will be difficult to win the trust of the tournament organizers.
There is a realistic background behind the drastic downward adjustment of the participation deposit of the China League Two. Factors such as the epidemic and the unstable investment environment have made it difficult for many League 2 clubs to operate in the past few seasons. It is not uncommon for clubs to quit in the middle of the season, which has had a great negative impact on the order of the league, the fairness of the game and the operating environment.
In the view of our country's soccer association, the preparatory group of the soccer association and the professional league, the Chinese Super League, as the league's "spire", to produce fine products, must first tamp down the construction of the middle and lower levels of the league as the "base of the tower". Can not just to meet the scale of all levels of the league "make up the number" of demand and lower the access standards. From this point of view, the tournament organizers, rather than allowing some of the low-level clubs to survive in the cracks, it would be better to strictly control the quality of the participating teams before the start of the league.
Currently, of the 22 clubs that have gained entry into the new season of the Chinese League B, 5 are from the last season's Chinese Champions League, which is close to 1/3 of the 16 clubs that competed in the final stage of last season's Chinese Champions League. if some of these 22 clubs are unable to submit proof of eligibility for the competition that meets the requirements, it would be very difficult for the organizers to relax the "threshold" any further. If some of these 22 clubs are unable to submit the required proof of eligibility, it will be difficult for the organizers to further relax the "threshold" and allow clubs that were ranked lower in last season's Champions League to enter the second division.
Also of interest is the fact that the 2003 age group U19 National Youth Football Team has confirmed that it will participate in this season's China B League, regardless of the changes in the size of the league. There have always been controversial voices in the outside world regarding the participation of national teams in professional leagues. However, due to the epidemic, except for the national men's soccer team's participation in the World Qualifier and the U23 national soccer team's participation in the Dubai Cup Invitational Tournament not long ago, the other national men's soccer teams have not been able to participate in international competitions for several years in a row. Within the past two years, the 2001-age national youth team, the Olympic-age team in Paris, has participated in the Central League B for two consecutive seasons. Although the team does not participate in elevation competitions, the training value gained by this team is still significant in terms of the number and quality of matches played. Judging from this team's rankings in the Central League B over the past two seasons, their participation does not have an impact on the competitive quality of the league.
Therefore, our soccer association, after communicating with the preparatory group of the soccer association and the club side, finally decided to organize the new U19 National Youth Football Team of the 2003 age group to participate in the new season of the China B League, in order to accumulate practical experience for the team to participate in the U20 Asian Cup qualifying tournament in the second half of this year. As in previous seasons, the National Youth Football Team will not participate in the promotion and relegation competitions of this season's China B League.
As for the 2001 age group National Youth Football Team, it has been confirmed that they will not be able to participate in the new season of the Central League. How they can guarantee the quality of their preparations before the start of the Olympic qualifiers is still the focus of attention.
In addition, it should be noted that the new season of the Chinese Second League has confirmed the adoption of the match system for the whole season. Our Football Association and the Preparatory Group of the Football Association have made this arrangement based on the actual situation. On the one hand, with the current epidemic, the third-tier professional league had to adopt the match system for the start of the season; on the other hand, the organizers have found after extensive research that the current financial capacity of the Chinese League B clubs can hardly meet the financial requirements for participation in home and away matches.
