The official announcement revealed that in order to cope with the key matches in the 9th and 10th rounds of the Asian Zone of the 2022 FIFA Qatar World Cup Qualifiers, after thorough consideration by the coaching staff and approval by the CFA, the Chinese Men's National Football Team will depart from Haikou in the afternoon of March 17, 2022, arriving in the United Arab Emirates (UAE) first, and then going to Oman. Two players, Li Lei and Jiang Guangtai, will join the team in the UAE.

It is worth mentioning that our U-23 national men's soccer team will also take the same flight to the United Arab Emirates as the national team to prepare for the upcoming Dubai Cup International Football Championship. After the tournament, the two teams will return home on the same flight.
