After a thrilling 1-1 draw, China's national soccer team made a 5-0 comeback in their second warm-up match against Changchun Yatai, clearing the gloom of the first match, according to South Korea's MHN Sports News.

In a warm-up match held at the Mission Hills Football Training Base in Haikou, Hainan on the afternoon of the 12th, the national football team defeated Changchun Yatai 5-0. In this match, the national soccer team used a 3-4-3 formation, scoring two goals in the first half and three more in the second half, successfully getting rid of the shadow of the draw caused by the udon goal in the first match.

Some of the domestic media hailed the thrashing as a victory for coach Li Xiaopeng, but considering that the Chinese national soccer team had a 700-day unbeaten streak in friendly matches, the 5-0 win didn't seem to be enough to emphasize its importance.

In this match, the core of the Chinese national soccer team's tactics was to base their defense on a 9-player midfield and create attacking chances through the combination of the sides and the middle of the field. This tactic is similar to the one used by Japan in their 2-0 win over Saudi Arabia.

After winning this big victory, the national football team will be full of confidence for the last warm-up match with the U23 national team on the 15th, and then leave for the UAE on the 17th. (Reported by Liu Shuitu, Sohu Sports)
