News flash: March 11, Beijing time, the 2022 Chinese National Women's Football Association's National Women's Football Championship grouping was officially announced.
The much-anticipated women's soccer tournament will have its grand opening on March 12 at the Haiji Base in Kunming and is scheduled to come to a close on March 25th.
The tournament not only invited teams from the Women's Super League and Women's First Division, but also included the U17 National Women's Soccer Team in the lineup. A total of 19 teams participated in the tournament, and they were divided into 5 groups and competed in 3 rounds. The first place winners of the five groups and the second place winners of the three groups with the best results will advance to the qualifying rounds of 1-8, while the second place winners of the other two groups and the third place winners of all the groups, as well as the fourth place winners with the best results, will participate in the qualifying rounds of 9-16.
In the second stage, the tournament will feature single-elimination quarterfinals, semifinals, and finals to determine all placements.
