The tournament's opener will be the grand opening on March 12 at the Hai Ridge Sports Center in Kunming, and the event will come to a close on March 25th.

A total of 19 teams have been assigned to five groups and will compete in three rounds of matches, with the top five teams and the three second-placed teams with the best results advancing to the 1-8 qualifying rounds, while the second-placed teams from the other two groups, as well as the third-placed teams from each of the other groups, plus the fourth-placed team with the best results, will compete for the 9-16th place spots.
In the second stage of the tournament, a single-elimination quarter-final, semi-final and final will be held to finalize the ranking of all participating teams.
