
Announcement of the appointment of the NFA Director of Referee Fitness

) The Chinese Football Association (CFA) officially announced that Ms. Zhang Lingling, a well-known physical fitness expert and former international assistant referee, was recently invited to serve as the Director of Referee Physical Fitness of China's soccer association.

National Football Association appoints Ms. Zhang Lingling as Director of Referee Fitness
In order to improve the physical fitness of our soccer referees and to ensure the professionalism of referee training, the National Football Association has decided to hire Ms. Zhang Lingling, who has rich experience, to be the Director of Referee Fitness.
Zhang Lingling, female, CPC member, former international assistant referee. After her retirement, she has devoted herself to the field of refereeing physical fitness research and is now an associate professor in the Football Teaching and Research Department of Shandong Sports Institute, with a master's degree from Shanghai Sports Institute and a doctorate degree from Universiti Putra Malaysia. Ms. Zhang Lingling has been involved in refereeing many international competitions, including the 2011 Women's World Cup and the 2010 Asian Games, and has won many honors.
After retiring from the game, Ms. Zhang Lingling has devoted herself to in-depth research in the field of referee fitness and has served as a referee fitness instructor for the Olympic Games, the Women's World Cup, and the Junior Women's World Cup. As a contracted instructor of the FIFA Global Football Referee Development Program, she is quite influential in the Asian physical fitness instructor team.
According to the work plan jointly formulated by the National Football Association and Ms. Zhang Lingling, Ms. Zhang Lingling will be responsible for formulating scientific training programs for referees of different levels of leagues for both men and women, improving the database of referees' physical fitness information, upgrading the level of referees' physical fitness, and promoting the implementation of referees' physical fitness training during the appointment period, so as to help improve the overall improvement of the soccer refereeing team in China.
Through this initiative, the National Football Association (NFA) aims to strengthen the foundation of refereeing, enhance the top-level design, and provide strong support for the implementation of the Overall Program for Football Reform and Development and a number of measures to further promote the reform and development of soccer.
