Zhejiang Professional Football Club recently succeeded in signing a contract with Cameroonian player Donovan Evolo, as the former star striker of Heilongjiang Bingcheng officially joined the Green Battlefield. With the 2021 season behind him, Evolo has devoted himself to individual training in China, and this spring he will gather with the team to prepare for the winter training of the new season.

Born in 1996, Donovan Evolo is a 191cm tall striker from Cameroon. He got his start in the reserve team of Danish club Aalborg and moved to North Carolina FC in the U.S. for the 2018-2019 season.In 2020, Evolo stepped foot in China and joined Heilongjiang Bingcheng.
In 33 appearances in the 2021 Central League season, Evolo has contributed 14 goals and 1 assist in 33 games. He was dynamic and aggressive in his on-field play, ranking in the top three of all players in the Central League in terms of average number of tackles, aerial contests and ground tackles.
We are confident that this young forward with excellent breakout ability, sharp scoring touch and full of potential will be able to provide strong support for Zhejiang's frontcourt offense in the 2022 season.

"I am well aware of the depth of Zhejiang FC and I am looking forward to being part of this team." Evolo is looking forward to the new owner he will be joining. Having spent two seasons in the Chinese league, he has gained an in-depth knowledge of Zhejiang. Evolo is also looking forward to the upcoming Chinese Super League season. He revealed that he has a clear and long-term plan in China and in the Chinese Super League, which coincides with Zhejiang's strategy.
