As the final chapter of the season slowly comes to an end, it's a busy time for clubs to prepare new formations as they rest and recuperate. According to the latest news, Wuhan club is in talks with former Harbor forward Hu Jinghang to strengthen the team's firepower lineup.

Hu Jinghang, a rising star born in 1997 in Ezhou City, has been sharpening his skills at the Chongming Genbao soccer base since he was a child, and then joined Shanghai Seaport Soccer Club with a group of his peers. As a striker, he was once known as "Wu Lei's second generation", but there is a significant difference between his technical style and that of his "elder brother" Wu Lei. Hu Jinghang was a stalwart of the U22 national Olympic team, and in 2017, he not only won the U20 men's soccer title at the Tianjin National Games with the Shanghai All-China Football Team, but also scored five goals on behalf of Henan Jianye, and was honored as the best newcomer in the Chinese Super League (CSL) that season.

Hu Jinghang has spent most of the last few seasons on loan and joined Wuhan for one season in 2020. In the second half of last season, Hu gradually got the chance to play, and made his debut in the final of the AFC Cup between Harbor and Taishan. With the desire to seek more opportunities and "go home to play soccer", Hu's contract expiration is unlikely to be renewed with Harbor. The young man who once vowed that "every child born in Hubei dreams of playing for Wuhan" is now marching towards a new goal.
