The Vietnamese team is currently actively preparing for the upcoming World Cup Qualifier 12 at the Vietnam Youth Football Training Center. Captain Do Hung Dung was adamant in the interview: "We are well aware that the My Dinh Stadium will host a crucial match on the first day of the Lunar New Year when Vietnam will face China, where 20,000 people are expected to watch the match live. Do Hung Dung, the new captain of the Vietnam national team, last held the captaincy in 2019.
