On January 13th in Beijing time zone, our men's soccer team started a new round of training in Shanghai Century Park. Team captain Wu Xi was interviewed by reporters during the training session.

Talking about the possible absence of naturalized players from the upcoming Top 12, Wu Xi said bluntly, "This is not an issue that our players need to worry about. Regardless of whether they arrive or not, we will put all our efforts into training and sharpening our tacit understanding; if they are absent, we have alternatives to continue preparing for the tournament."

Regarding his recent training, Wu Xi revealed, "After the league, we mainly trained to rest and maintain our physical functions. After yesterday's rehabilitation training, today's training focused on restoring physical strength. Although we haven't had a lot of communication with Coach Li, I can feel that the coaching team wants to create a relaxing atmosphere for the team through training and daily life together. Coach Li is also looking forward to the next two matches, we can unload the psychological burden, go all out. As long as we are full of spirit, the result may also be satisfactory."

Wu Xi also said that he has high hopes for the young players in the team after training with many players for the first time. "The young players have shown their strength and vigor in the league, and I hope they will be more strict with themselves in their daily training so that they can make a difference on a higher stage."

Talking about new recruit Dai Weijun, Wu Xi commented, "He is a powerful player. In the past we mainly met in confrontation and have yet to train with the ball. Everything still needs to be shown gradually in the subsequent training."
