TRACKING: On January 13th, BST, Vietnam News broke the heavy news - a new case has been added to the Vietnamese soccer scene. It is reported that a third new crown infection has surfaced in the Vietnam national team, and the unfortunate player is striker Nguyen Chinh Linh.

It is worth mentioning that Nguyen Chinh Linh had completed a nucleic acid test before departing for Hanoi, which unfortunately came back positive. Immediately afterward, the PCR test also confirmed the result. After receiving the results of the test, Nguyen Chin Linh quickly reported the situation to the Vietnam Football Association and the head coach. Currently, Nguyen Chin Ling is in good health and has no typical symptoms such as high fever and cough.

Nguyen Thinh Linh has become the third newly crowned infected person after midfielder Nguyen Hoang Duc and striker Nguyen Van Quan. It is worth noting that Nguyen Hoang Duc has recovered but is still under quarantine and observation locally. Meanwhile, Nguyen Van Quan is currently under quarantine. As planned, the Vietnam national team will gather at 11am today (November 13) to prepare for the upcoming World Qualifier matches against Australia and China.

It is worth mentioning that the Vietnam national team has also run into some trouble in international soccer. According to FIFA, seven players of the Vietnam national team received yellow cards in the 12-team tournament in November last year, including six yellow cards in the match against Saudi Arabia. The FIFA Disciplinary Committee fined the Vietnamese national team 6,000 Swiss francs for "violating the spirit of sportsmanship" and warned them to pay attention to the behavior of their players in the next round of 12 matches. If a similar situation occurs again, it will face a more severe punishment.
