At the end of the 2021 season, after an amicable negotiation, Mr. Antonio Gómez-Carreño Escalona will no longer be the acting head coach of the first team of Henan Songshan Longmen Football Club.
Since October 2021, Mr. Antonio has been responsible for leading the team to the quarterfinals of the FA Cup, the best record in the team's history, and the second place in the relegation group and the tenth place in the league in the second phase of the Super League.
