After a two-week hiatus, Grasshoppers FC sounded the rallying cry on January 5, with members of the squad, led by Italian head coach Giorgio Contini, fully focused on preparations for the second half of the season. Meanwhile, some 40 first team players and staff members underwent rigorous nucleic acid testing for the new coronavirus, which regrettably revealed that three members tested positive and have been asked to immediately place themselves in quarantine in order to block possible ways of spreading the virus. With the winter break coming to an end, Grasshoppers' first matchup of the second half of the season is set to kick off on January 30th against a solid Sion team. We would like to wish Grasshoppers all the best for the upcoming season!
