The team's foreign striker Edmilson confessed in an interview with foreign media lance that his decision to join Wuhan Sanzhen was a wise one.
In the interview, Edmilson recalled his journey of joining Wuhan Sanzhen and his joy after the team's success in the Super League. He exclaimed, "This is the most glorious championship in Wuhan Sanzhen's history, and I am honored to be a part of writing this chapter of history. When I was faced with offers from other clubs, many people advised me not to choose the Central League, but I firmly believed in the team's strategy and knew that they were building a strong team. Fortunately, I made the right choice."
Edmilson scored 11 goals in 24 games in the Central League this season, setting a new record for goals scored since leaving Brazil. "At the beginning, the club's senior management had predicted that I would be the mainstay of the team and play a key role. I'm relieved to see the club's plans come to fruition one by one and proud that I've been able to play good football in line with expectations."
