As we enter the threshold of 2022, Brazil's UOL media broke the news that Janisson and Dalian Ren Professional Football Club have officially come to an end, and behind this event, Janisson's complaint with FIFA has quietly come to an end.
A closer look at the reports suggests that Janisson's release from his contract is a done deal and he is now a free agent in the soccer market, able to plan his career without restrictions. Going back in time, Janisson had brought FIFA to the forefront of litigation over unpaid wages at Dalian, a lengthy legal battle that eventually brought the player's relationship with the international club to an end.
Now, Janisson's mind has flown to Europe and he has featured on the invitation lists of Galatasaray, Fenerbahce and a Portuguese super club. The former Gremio midfield star is hoping to shine again on the European stage after leaving the Chinese market and ending his career in Turkey and China.
Back in September last year, Janisson moved from Fenerbahce to Dalian Ren but only featured in a mere six Super League matches. At the end of the season, he chose to stay in Brazil without ever setting foot in Dalian, and now the road to his future seems to be wide open.
