Edmilson confident of Chinese Super League challenge after Wuhan Three Town win

In an interview with foreign media lance, the team's foreign forward Edmilson was full of praise for his decision to join Wuhan Sanzhen.
Edmilson revealed in the interview, "This is an unprecedented moment of glory for the Wuhan Three Town team and I am proud to be a part of it. Although I was advised to choose another club, thinking that the Central League was not the best way forward, I strongly believe in the team's blueprint and foresee its potential to build a strong team, and I am glad that I made the right choice."
Edmilson has scored 11 goals in 24 games this season, setting a new record for goals scored since his departure from Brazil. "The club hierarchy had predicted that I would be a stalwart of the team and I knew I had a heavy responsibility. Today the club has planned for success and I have fulfilled everyone's expectations of me."
