In the late afternoon of December 26th, the first round of the promotion playoff between China A and China B was played at Hengpi Soccer Town in Wuhua, Meizhou. In the match between Qingdao Youth Island and Beijing Polytechnic, both sides failed to score and ended in a 0-0 draw.
As the game came to an end, Yu Fei, the head coach of Beijing Institute of Technology (BIT), appeared in the press conference. Commenting on the match, Coach Yu Fei said, "Despite the fact that the score today was a tie, the whole match could be described as exciting. Given that this is a two-legged match, the first half has come to an end and there is a second half showdown in three days. We will take stock of today's performance, make positive adjustments and do our best to regain our fitness to ensure we are fully prepared for the upcoming second round."
