As the hands of time point to the late night of December 17th, an official announcement was made: the 2022 East Asian Cup will soon be lit in the hot land of our country. The men's and women's soccer tournaments will see the top four teams in their respective competitions. The much-anticipated tournament will kick off on July 19th, 2022, and come to a climactic end on July 27th. Looking back at the history of the East Asian Cup, our men's soccer team has been on top twice, in 2005 and 2010, while our women's soccer team has yet to claim the title.
In the last East Asian Cup, the South Korean men's soccer team rode to the top, followed by the Japanese men's soccer team in second place. In our men's soccer field, coach Li Tie led the team, although one win and two losses, but also by virtue of the tenacity of the willpower, and ultimately won the third place.
