The second stage of the league is a battle for the title. However, due to financial woes, the players have had to raise their own funds to solve the problem of intercity transportation to Guangzhou, while training and living arrangements at the Sanshui base will be on credit and pay later.

The league has not received any applications from clubs to withdraw from the second stage of the tournament, which bodes well for almost all of the 16 teams that will be able to participate in this phase of the tournament.
Among the many Chinese Super League clubs, Hebei is undoubtedly one of the teams facing the biggest difficulties. Previously, due to financial pressures, Hebei Club could not even pay the utility bills, the first team and all levels of the ladder team had a "work stoppage". However, given the love of soccer and deep feelings for the club, the players have expressed their willingness to tide over the difficulties with the club, and decided to participate in normal training to ensure that they can participate in the second phase of the

It is reported that the clubs and team personnel of this training session are required to advance their own transportation expenses to Guangzhou. Some team managers are even considering delaying their arrival in the tournament area in order to save club expenses.
After arriving in Sanshui, the Hebei team will stay at the local Wyndham Hotel. Due to financial constraints, the team's training and accommodation arrangements in the area will also be made on credit, meaning that the relevant costs can only be owed temporarily, to be settled by the club at a later stage.
The good news for the Riverhounds is that most of the team's starters made it in time for the

Contender's Group tournament. Of the four active foreigners, Cernus has not been able to return to China for the time being, but Memishevic and Silva have returned early and Leonardo has remained in China.
Korean head coach Kim Jong-woo has shown firm support when the club is facing difficulties. He is reported to have returned to Guangzhou on the 18th of this month and is expected to be released from quarantine on the 9th and be able to lead the team normally in the
