On November 15, Beijing time, China's soccer media Li Xuan revealed on Weibo the full text of the Hebei Football Club's staff petition, while relaying the impassioned speech of Hebei team leader Lang Zheng. On the petition, all the employees signed that they are willing to give freely, vowing to hold on until the equity reform is successfully completed and the club's condition is improved.
Lang Zheng's words were firm: "We have persisted so far and do not want to give up lightly. We use unyielding will to fight for the future of Hebei soccer."
The players, coaches, and staff, have all done their best. Losing a team like this would be a great loss to the entire soccer community. Before, it may have been a concern just to receive a paycheck, but now, it can be said that it is completely out of love for soccer. Love for this hard-earned team, and love for the honor that has been paid for with our lives over the past two years. As part of the club, all we can do is to keep going. With our practical actions, guarding the Hebei team, looking forward to all levels of leadership can lend a helping hand, help the club to promote equity reform. Years from now, looking back on this journey, I hope that this is only a bitter past in the history of Hebei soccer.
