Today, soccer media personality Wang Wei revealed in his social media domain that Shenzhen Football Club will maintain its current foreign aid lineup in the 2022 season and has no plans to bring in the much-anticipated player Jonathan Rodriguez.
Wang Wei elaborated further:
Shamrocks have shown full confidence in their current foreign players and have not set a program to replace them for the 2022 season. Recent reports that Rodriguez had been in contact with SZF in 2020 have been heard, however, it is not appropriate to introduce him into our soccer scene as the relevant transfer fee does not comply with the CFA regulations.
Earlier, it was revealed that Shenzhen and Shanghai Shenhua have both expressed strong interest in Uruguayan star Jonathan Rodriguez. Rodriguez is currently playing for the Blue Cross of Mexico and has played 104 matches for the team, contributing 48 goals and 12 assists and winning four trophies with the team.
