Notice of the Chinese Football Association on the Selection and Employment of the Head Coach of China's Women's National Football Team

Member associations, clubs and related organizations:
In order to fully implement the relevant spirit of the overall program of China's soccer change and development, do a good job in the new cycle of the women's national football team's preparation for various international tournaments, and strive to create outstanding results, the Chinese Football Association intends to arrange for the open selection of China's women's national football team's head coach in the near future. The relevant matters are notified as follows:
I. Job information
Selected Position: Head Coach of our Women's National Football Team
II. Time and place of selection and recruitment
(i) Application period: from now until 24:00 on October 12, 2021
(ii) Interviews: October 15-16, 2021
(iii) Place of interview: Beijing
III. Conditions of enrolment
(i) Have the nationality of the People's Republic of China;
(ii) A soccer professional level coaching certificate with a valid coaching license is required;
(c) Experience as a professional or specialist soccer player is required (experience of playing for a soccer national team is preferred);
(iv) Past experience is subject to one of the following conditions:
1. Has served as head coach of the U19 and above national units of the Chinese Football Association (CFA);
2. Has served as head coach of the Women's Super League unit of the Chinese Football Association;
3. Have served as a head coach or assistant coach of a CFA top league unit.
(v) Being under 60 years of age, physically fit and able to adapt to the needs of the army's intensive training and preparation work.
IV. Registration materials and requirements
(i) Registration form (attached);
(ii) A health certificate from a hospital of grade 3A or above;
(c) Football professional level coaching certificate and coaching license;
Please send a scanned copy of the above application documents to the contact person within the specified application deadline.
V. Selection and recruitment procedures
(i) Eligibility
The CFA will examine the qualifications of all candidates and submit the candidates who meet the application requirements to the Selection and Recruitment Expert Group. After discussion by the Selection and Recruitment Expert Group, the candidates who will participate in the interview and assessment session will be determined.
(ii) Content and method of assessment
Interview presentation and Q&A. Candidates are required to present their coaching philosophy, team formation ideas and personal strengths through PPT; summarize the development trend of international women's soccer, analyze the current situation of the main rivals in Asian and international women's soccer; introduce the goals and preparation ideas of China's women's football team to participate in the Asian Cup, the International Cup, the Asian Games, and the Olympic Games; and answer the questions of the panel of experts, focusing on the assessment of the candidates' comprehensive ability.
All relevant organizations are requested to notify coaches who voluntarily participate in the selection process to apply as soon as possible.
Further notice will be given for any outstanding issues.
