In an exclusive interview on October 4 on the Salon's official microblog, Shandong Taishan's foreign aid player Moises shared a bit of his experience of returning to the team this year and depicted his daily life in China.
Facing the road back, Moises said bluntly, "As we all know, the epidemic is global and Brazil is facing many challenges. My personal idea was to return as soon as possible, and unfortunately it didn't work out as I had hoped. But I am filled with joy to finally be back in the team."
Talking about patience during his return, Moises said, "Patience is mutual and Sharon has cared for me. Their care for my emotions has warmed my heart and given me great support, so I am willing to give my best to repay Sharon's trust."
Regarding the title of "model worker" given by the fans, Moises said, "First of all, I don't know the nickname 'model worker' yet. When I came to China, I just wanted to be in the best condition to help the team and work side by side with my teammates."
Moises revealed that during the quarantine period, he watched the Chinese Super League match with Shandong Taishan through an app on his PAD at the hotel. And said, "If we follow up every game with a concerted effort, our chances of winning the title will be greatly increased."
Speaking about the F.A.C. Cup, Moises said, "First of all, the fact that a number of teammates have been selected for the national team proves that Taishan has excellent players who are capable of representing the national team and competing for the glory of the country. From another point of view, after six national players were selected for the national team, we still have strong players to cope with the challenge of the F.A.C.A. Cup, and we will do our best to prepare for the F.A.C.A. Cup."
Talking about his interaction with his teammates, Moises said, "Just like last year, I like to play landlord with my Chinese friends. This year Jadson and Delgado are both here, so we can go to Shanghai together, meet our Shanghai friends, taste Brazilian food and then reminisce about home together."
Talking about his taste, Moises said, "Eating spicy food is no problem for me, but I find that a lot of Chinese people eat extra spicy food, which I can't stand a bit. As for Chinese food, I still like hot pot, I often have hot pot with my friends, it's very delicious. As for drinking tea, I don't drink much, I still prefer coffee."
Speaking about whether he is considering bringing his family to China, Moises said, "There may be some difficulties with the policy at the moment, but actually to tell a secret, they are now very eager to go back to China. They have been here before and really enjoyed their time in China, loved Jinan, loved Taishan as a team. If the policy allows, they will come back at the first opportunity."
